Fiber Laser Cutting
The fiber laser source concentrates energy into an extremely thin and powerful beam, allowing the production of complex geometries with tight tolerances, sharp edges, and burr-free surfaces, while minimizing thermal deformation of the material.
Thanks to this technology, Officine Tironi can process carbon steel and stainless steel, ensuring consistent results and high-quality finished products.
The department is equipped with several high-performance fiber laser cutting systems, each fitted with automatic loading and unloading storage systems. This allows us to manage the production cycle continuously and efficiently, reducing machine downtime and ensuring high productivity even for complex or high-volume orders.
The combination of advanced technologies and specialized expertise enables Officine Tironi to provide reliable, fast, and fully compliant manufacturing solutions according to customer specifications.
HD Plasma Cutting
Plasma cutting is an extremely versatile solution for manufacturing components for medium and heavy metal fabrication, allowing efficient processing of different materials and thicknesses while maintaining high-quality standards. This technology is widely appreciated in the industrial sector for its ability to perform fast and precise cuts, including complex geometries, while optimizing production times and costs.
Officine Tironi is equipped with an HD plasma cutting system capable of performing complementary operations directly on sheets up to 40 mm thick, including cutting, beveling, and edge preparation.
The ability to carry out these operations during the cutting stage reduces subsequent processing requirements and allows us to supply components already prepared for assembly and welding, providing significant advantages in terms of production efficiency.
Oxy-Fuel Cutting
For the processing of heavy-gauge plates, Officine Tironi is equipped with an oxy-fuel cutting system capable of cutting carbon steel up to 200 mm thickness.
Oxy-fuel cutting is a thermal process particularly suitable for high-thickness steel processing. Through the combined action of a preheating flame and a pure oxygen jet, it enables the cutting of sections that would be difficult to process with other technologies with the same level of efficiency.
