Welding Certifications
Each manufacturing process is managed through defined procedures, qualified personnel, and inspections consistent with the technical requirements of the project.
A Controlled Process at Every Stage
Welding certifications complement Officine Tironi’s experience in the manufacturing of structures, frames, baseplates, and metal components for industrial applications. The integration of technical expertise, qualified procedures, and documented inspections enables us to manage projects with different levels of complexity, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance with the required standards.

ISO 3834-2:2021
The ISO 3834-2:2021 certification defines comprehensive quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. For Officine Tironi, this means managing all welding-related activities in a structured manner: from the verification of technical requirements to production planning, from procedure qualification and material selection to final inspections.
The standard helps ensure that operations are carried out under controlled conditions, with suitable equipment, qualified personnel, and traceable documentation.
AWS D1.1
The AWS D1.1 standard concerns structural steel welding and is one of the main international references for the manufacturing of welded structures. Compliance with this standard enables us to manage projects requiring specific procedures, inspections, and acceptance criteria, particularly for projects intended for markets or customers adopting US-based regulations.
For customers, it represents an additional guarantee of our ability to manage manufacturing processes according to internationally recognized technical requirements.

EN 1090-2 EXC3
The EN 1090-2 standard defines the technical requirements for the execution of steel structures. Execution Class EXC3 applies to products characterized by high requirements in terms of quality, control, and reliability. Operating according to this class means adopting rigorous procedures for material management, joint preparation, welding execution, inspections, and project documentation.
EN ISO 9606-1
The EN ISO 9606-1 qualification certifies that the operator has the necessary skills to perform specific types of welding, in compliance with defined parameters, materials, positions, and welding processes. The presence of qualified welders enables Officine Tironi to ensure that manufacturing activities are carried out by properly trained and verified personnel, according to the technical characteristics of each project.
ASME Section IX
ASME Section IX regulates the qualification of welding procedures and personnel responsible for their execution. This reference is particularly important for projects intended for industrial sectors requiring the application of the ASME Code, such as plants, equipment, and components subject to specific construction requirements.
